This was a public international telephone interview between Dennis Kucinich and Yumi Kikuchi, the purpose of which was to help kick start a local grass roots movement to bring about a Ministry Of Peace in Japan.

The first question Congressman Kucinich was asked asked to answer was "What is the Department of Peace?" After that, a question and answer session with the audience followed.

About 130 people attended. This was the first direct dialogue between Congressman and Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich and Japanese people. His speech gave us a lot of hope in our quest to follow in his footsteps and form a Ministry of Peace here in Japan.
